Of all the days of the year during which people can buy things in Nigeria, it is during Black Friday that they can normally get the lowest prices. There is no better time to shop for things online in Nigeria for 2015 than on November 27th as the prices of items listed on Jumia has dropped the lowest. Imagine buying a gas cooker for 60% off the list price or a Samsung HD Led TV for less than 40% of it's listed price. Well, that]s the kind of deal you can get while shopping on Jumia during Black Friday.

Black Friday is a special day that marks the beginning of pre-Christmas shopping and it's marked in most countries across the world particularly the USA as a Friday when retailers offer the lowest prices to attract customers and it's also a reminder that people should start shopping early before Christmas if they want to get items at huge discounts as well as avoid running out of stock entirely.

In the past, many Nigerians used to wait a few days to Christmas or the end of the year before doing their last minute shopping and they normally spend a lot during this period. Nowadays, more and more retailers like Jumia are offering products and services at prices that are making them see a good reason to start their shopping much earlier. Yes, the black Friday shopping fever has caught on Nigerians and they've been showing their love for it by shopping on Jumia during this special day.

It's probably called Black Friday because on this day, prices shrink so low you'd almost think there was a blackout but it's fine because it means the more you spend, the more money you'll actually be saving. More and more Nigerians now do their Black Friday shopping on Jumia and another one holds today being the 27th of November 2015.

Jumia Black Friday 2015 promised to offer the best online shopping experience Nigeria's would even have and I don't think there is any other better place you can do your black Friday shopping that has a large inventory of products. I heard that the website crashed or went offline in the early morning as it experienced and unexpected amount of traffic from many Nigerian early shoppers. Men! Who wakes up by 1 a.m. just to shop on Jumia? Well many Nigerians now do that on Black Friday and I hope Jumia's website doesn't crash or go offline again in the near future.

The shopping event on Jumia began on Friday 27th 2015 by 12 am and will end by 11.59 pm same day. Don't wait till the next day before buying from them because after that Friday, prices will shoot up automatically.

What is Jumia Nigeria offering during the 2015 Black Friday sales? Well, quite a lot as they claim you can save up to 90% as a discount by shopping with them. They have products in various categories and displayed how much people can save when they buy them. You'd see categories such as Phones/Tablets (Up to 60% discount), Computers (Up to 50% discount), Women's clothing (Up to 80% discount), Men's clothing (Up to 80% discount), Electronics (Up to 70% discount), Health/Beauty (Up to 50% discount), Home/Office (Up to 70% discount),

Watches (Up to 40% discount) and Baby/Kids (Up to 65% discount).

How much can one save when shopping on Jumia during their Black Friday sales? Well, it's easy to know how much you are saving by taking a look at the listed product and comparing their list price to their current price. The difference between the list price and current price is your savings and after taking a look at a 24 inch Samsung HD LEDT TV (UA24H4003), I noticed that a person can save up to N9900 by buying the Samsung TV since it's being sold at N30,100. It's originally listed price was N40,000 and if you ask me, I'd say it's a good deal.

I noticed an item I wanted to buy which was a 14 inch Binatone rechargeable standing fan RSF 1401 being sold at just N10,500 and that's a saving of almost 40% from it's originally listed price of N16750. I may ver well buy it before the end of the day. The good thing about rechargeable fans are that they can keep working even when NEPA has taken the light unlike ordinary electric fans and that's because they have a rechargeable battery included in it's design.
