DSTV Drifta - Watch dstv on the go

With the new DSTV product called drifta, you no longer have to restrict yourself to watching dstv channels on your TV set or on the couch - You could watch your cable tv even on your laptop, Ipad or other computer device. DSTV Drifta is the new way to go if your are looking for a way to watch your favourite channels on other capable device when you are not immediately close to your decoder. DSTV drifta works in such a way that it connects to your decoder service if you are subscrribed and brings all the channels to you life.
Drifta is actually a small device that does a lot of hardwork. Watchng dstv on a drifta is a little bit like mobile dstv but imagine that on a larger screen. You could use drifta in your car, guest house, office or on a bus.
You don't watch DSTV's cable tv directly on the drifter but it is a gadget that allows you to "drift" to other capable devices to watch your cable tv. It seems to work like a cable tv card that connects you dstv service to another device that may not necessary be TV.
I am not yet sure how much the gadget costs but it definitely comes at a price and once you get yours, you would practically be able to watch mobile dstv on an enhanced platform and for a variety of devices that even dstv mobile does not offer. DSTV mobile currently offers about 11 channels but mobile dstv with the Drifta will offer you a wider range just like your decoder.

After you purchase the DStv Drifta, you will then be able to watch DStv Mobile on devices such as your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad by first downloading the DStv Decoder app. Drifta is also compatible with larger devices such as your laptop and PC and can connect through a USB port and Wi-Fi.

No, Emem, it is just a device that can help you watch it for various platforms. There is no screen on the drifta where you can watch it directly

Will home dish decoder SS1 still play while I use Drifta to watch SS1 elsewhere ?

I went to dstv offic in upper iweka by irodibe to buy dstv drifta they told me that it is made for the poeple that paid 10000 for dstv. Why is it so in nigeria?
