Check if your Glo line has been registered

The countdown for the deadline is ticking and it would do you well if you can really verify if your Glo sim has been registered. Sim registration is what has been legalized by the government and so all GSM firms were told to carry out the registration exercise for a few months. It has been ongoing and might I say it has not been easy for a lot of people who may have had to skip their job or occupation just to get registered on a working day. Although it is also cool that sim registration is also carried out at some centres on the weekends and Sundays to help meet the deadline. Every gsm line owner needs to be registered before using a sim card. This simply means that after the registration time, any sim that has not been registered would be disconnected from their networks.

Now if you are on the Glo network, how do you check if your line has been officially registered? Well, if you have not gone to their office for the biometric registration, then you shouldn't bother checking but if you have and still want to independently verify if your Glo sim has been registered, you can do so by using an sms service which Glo is providing to users on its network. I saw it on a large banner in Lagos and there are others like that elsewhere.

How to confirm if your Glo sim has been duly registered:
To know when your line has been registered do the following:

- Send and sms with the word REG to 3456
- Expect a feedback
- The message "Your SIM 234xxxxxxxxxxxxx has been registered. Thank You" returns

If you did not receive this positive message, then your Glo sim has not been duly registered and you should still do this yourself by visiting any official Glo outlet close to you. Don't patronize agents or quacks. Do it yourself.

Please, I need your assistance due on my SIM CARD that is not yet registered. The first time i registered my sim, i didn't receive Registration Confirmation. i registered my sim and i have receive the confirmation sms but i can't still make call,sms,browse and etc.why cause it is not surpose to be like that
