I had earlier done an introduction on this topic here but in this case, I want to explore other areas.

Internet or online advertising options available in Nigeria can be grouped into two areas:
1. Almost free advertising
2. Paid advertising

Using Free advertising
When using the first option, you make use of free sites and networks to promote your brand and for Nigeria, there are a couple of sites busineses and entrepreneurs can use to get the word out on their business.
Programs you can use to advertise for almost free in Nigeria are:
- Youtube channel
- Classified ad sites: Ngosi.com, Nairaland, bunchbay.com, dealdey.com
- Forums: Nairaland, Naijahotjobs,
- Social networks like Facebook, GPlus, Twitter

Using Paid advertising
This involves advertising services like Google adwords, Bidvertiser, Ad dynamo, Ad placers, Clicksor and so on. You may also setup a website such as corporate Wordpress blog for your business that would allow you to have an interactive portal with your potential customers. Having a coporate blog can even be much more effective if you also have someone using it to market your products and that's what internet marketers do.

Is it confusing?
If making use of internet advertising is confusing, you may also decide on a budget you want to work with and approach any internet advertising managers in Nigeria and they can help run an advertising campaign for you. You may be able to see results in as little as 2 or 3 months and you can decide on a monthly or daily busdget.

Yes, you can target your audenice in the area where you live or you can go world wide with your business. for example if you have a plumbing company, find a company in your area that sells sinks, toilets or anything relating to your business or you can find a home builder in your area and advertise on their page that has a website with good traffic and see if you can exchange links or you can pay them a fee to advertise on their website. The possibilities are endless.
