Today as I checked out one of my sites, I found out that the feedburner reader's count now reads 0. I said "What!" This is not normal! Normally on that site, I'm used to having over 100 readers and the numbers have been growing steadily even though it's a new site but why did it have to read zero?

Well, when this happened, a couple of things I reasoned would cause these were:
- Feedburner count has broken down
- Perhaps all my subscribers decided to unsubscribe at the same time
- My code may have been altered

What I did next
So I decided to log into my feedburner account and found out that it was the same issue for all my sites and even feedburner is yet to report the error. I then checked on a couple of other competitor's site in my niche, some of who have over 3000 readers and found out that they had the same problem, the feedcount was reading zero.

No Problem, Feedburner would correct it
I googled a bit and saw a couple of posts that this seemed to be a recurring problem with feedburner and that it would be rectified later on. So I'm happy that my subcriber's count would return to normal as it's a major source of my website traffic

The feedcount has returned to normal as I can now see the actual number of people subscribed to my site. I guess there was a glitch with Feedburner's service
