I just received another email again today supposedly from no_reply@libertyreserve.com with the subject: You've won $200 from Liberty Reserve.

This is not the first time I received this email and I already suppose that it is a scam artist sending it to a lot of liberty reserve account holders. Well, let me share with you the content of the email:

"Dear Libertyreserve Customer,
Since 2002 Liberty Reserve has made considerable progress and improvement.
Serving you with most sophisticated electronic payment solutions possible
We're glad to announce that our service has become the leading e-currency in market
Liberty Reserve services are being improved continuously.
Recently we have established a prizes for random Liberty Reserve customers
Our co-operation choosing winner accounts randomly
CONGRATULATIONS! YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN CHOSEN AS WINNER ACCOUNT
YOUR PRIZE IS $200 USD
You must verify that your account is already active to receive your prize
To verify that your account is already active you must pay a $0.20
After the $0.20 payment, you will receive your $200 instanly without any delay.
In order to receive your prize. You must pay the fees to
General Prize Fees account X1803500 (Prize Fees), -
http://prize-libertyreserve.com/?lr_acc=X1803500
You will receive the $200 without any additional fees"

Now why would I have to pay $0.20 first in order to get my reward which I already won? If 1000 people fall for this scam, then these scammers would likely make about $200 for free shopping. It doesn't make much sense and LR guys should do something about this.

I received a similar mail that purported that ive won $200 yesterday. I have earlier received a similar mail that I won $100 and I send a mail to inquired from LR if they are doing any promotion but they didnt reply. I however refused to fall maga for the scam because LR always write in their mail that 1. Customers will always be addressed by their first name. (It is likely the scammer doesnt know it hence the use of Dear customer 2. No link shall be sent to customers.

Furthermore there is no moral justification in asking for$0.20 and making it mandatory that it must be sent before a particular time

If they are from LR why they need $0.20 to verify? They should already know if this account is active or not. As they don't know they are scam.
