Kindle Fire is getting better and when we first started with just kindle reader, we could say that it was a far cry from the ipad but now with bettr versions such as the Kindle fire HD variants, it may actually be better than an Ipad.

Why buy an Apple Ipad when you can get a Kindle Fire that does about the same thing and offers a bit more?

Just because it is called Apple Ipad 3 doesn't mean it's better than Amazon's Kindle Fire HD.

It's true that Apple products tend to have a brand name that draws significant attention and value to it, comparing it to Amazon's Kindle fire HD can actually show us some weakness that would make the new HD capable Kindle Fire probably better than the Ipad.

Here are my Ten reasons why I think Kindle Fire HD is better than Ipad 3

1. Affordability: It is much cheaper and still does most things an Ipad does. About $300 cheaper!

2. Document viewing: It reads ebooks and other pc documents like Word, pdf and power point without the need for apps

3. Resources: It offers an abundant supply of books, movies and other media from the Amazon network

4. Portability: More portable - Being at only 7 inch in size. Besides there are now bigger sizes

5. WiFi Antenna: Kindle fire has a dual-band, dual-antenna offering the fastest WiFi unlike ipad 3 which has a single antenna

6. Battery: Longer battery life than the Ipad.

7. USB: Allows USB connections easily
8. Speakers: Kindle Fire HD has 2 Speakers while the Ipad has just 1.

9. Library: Kindle owners have access to hundreds of online books that they can borrow without limit or due date

10. Light: It is much lighter than an Ipad that can give you muscle cramps if you hold for too long. A Kindle Fire is even lighter than most books and yet if offers much more.

And did I mention that Kindle Fire HD still sells from $199?
