Does Adbrite really pay? Well, I'm not sure if there is any Nigerian publisher who has received a cheque from them yet.

I just want to share with your guys my experience as an Adbrite publisher. I started using Adbrite some few years ago, around 2010, in order to diversify my advertiser base and it was actually one of the top earners besides Google adsense.

However, I have never received any cheque from them since I joined as I wanted it to accumulate to a reasonable amount and when it finally reached $369.69 in 2011, I wanted to get paid. Surprisingly, I got an email from Trust and Safety telling me that my account has been suspended and I won't be getting paid due to invalid clicks and for using ads on pages with little content. It was really surprising since they didn't tell me that since I had been displaying their pop up ads for several months and only had to wait till when my cheque was due. I'm quite sure I was not allowing invalid clicks but perhaps, I may have used their ads on some few pages with little content.
Anyway, the bottom line was that they didn't allow me to appeal or prove that I didn't deserve the money I had accumulated and despite having brought in some advertisers to them. All that effort was really for nothing.

Since, then I've stopped displaying ads by Adbrite on my site and have not received my payment since from them.

I don't know if there are any Nigerian bloggers who have ever being paid by Adbrite. Personally, I won't recommend them to anyone who has never used them before.

My Stats with Adbrite
======================

Ad revenue: $369.69
