Just ordered for my Kindle Fire HD

I have always wanted to know what it feels like having an Amazon kindle and have followed their e-readers from the kindle e reader now to Kindle fire HD. It was not until I saw Kindle fire hd that I said I really wanted to have one.

So first I did was to check the balance on my Zenith bank visa dollar card and since I still had some funds for buying and shipping, I decided to order for the kindle fire hd.

To get a $199 Amazon kindle in Nigeria, it would cost about $250 in the least when you key in other things like shipping. Adding accessories like cover cases and stylus can increase the cost too.

I didn't really want to buy the Kindle fire since it cost almost the same price as I would get a cheap laptop from amazon but since I just wanted to know how it feels like working and surfing on a kindle hd, as well as watching movies, I just ordered one today. Besides, I wanted to do a personal review on it based on my personal experience.

How I ordered my Kindle Fire HD

- Go to Kindle Fire hd PAGE. costs $199
- Click on add to cart - it says items qualifies for free shipping
I was also tempted to buy the black standing leather cover cases for 44.99 and I grudgingly did.it increased my cost to $243.99
- Clicked on proceed to checkout
placed the order afer confirmation of my US shipping address
- Shipping to my US address cost an additional $9 bringing a total of $253.96
- The estimated delivery time to my US address would be in 5 days.

I guessed final shipping will cost an additional $50 to $70 to Nigeria and that would bring my total cost to somewhere around $300. I would also have to wait for about 2 weeks to get it finally in Nigeria.

Tip: You could get it for cheaper though if you only bought the Kindle fire without any accessories. Besides, you can beat down dhl shipping costs by buying in bulk.
