After having tried a couple of times, I finally know how to copy and watch video files with my Kindle Fire HD.

Initially I just copied a whole bunch of videos to my Kindle HD but didn't know how to access them until I found out I had to go to the apps center and look in my personal videos folder.

Video Formats which Kindle Fire supports
You should know that it doesn't support all video formats but does support most of them and these includes: 3GP, MP4 and VP8

If you have other video files that are not supported, you can always convert them using any freeware.

Things you will need
- Source files
- USB cable
- Space within Kindle Fire hard drive

How to copy from your computer to Kindle HD
Your computer should have a USB port that would allow the USB cable to connect the Kindle hd to your computer.

- Connect the small end of the MicroUSB cable to Kindle
- Connect the other USB end to your computer
- Accept any installations if any from Kindle on your computer
- Open your source folder and copy the video files
- Go to computer > Kindle > Internal Storage > Movies and paste the files
- Allow it to copy
- Disconnect your connections
- You videos are now stored on the Kindle HD's hard drive

Copying other files like music and books would have to be the same way and you only have to make sure it is in a supported format.
