Chitika review for Nigeria: No Cheque ever received

Making money with Chitika in Nigeria is quite possible if you have a website that receives a lot of traffic especially from the US, UK or Canada. With Chitika, you can make a good amount of income.

When it comes to the top earning publishing networks available for Nigerians, I think Chitika comes 2nd after Google adsense but the problem I have been having with them is that I have never received any cheque from them till date even though they claimed to have sent 3 payments.

When it comes to payment options, Chitika offers two which are by Paypal and snail mail cheque. Funny thing is that Paypal doesn't work in Nigeria and snail mail takes a lot of time and has to pass through a lot of untrusted hands. I wish they had a faster delivery service.

I had contacted Chitika support several times over the issue but they keep telling me that 2 of the cheques had been sent and already cleared by me in Nigeria and yet I have never received it. I am still waiting for the third cheque even though it has been over 3 weeks. I guess it takes about 3 weeks to get here and another 3 weeks to clear in a bank. I guess if I didn't receive this cheque in 5 or 6 weeks, I'll call them to cancel it so that they won't be any excuse of cheque theft again.

Maybe they were right and maybe it was actually sent but must have been stolen in transit and cleared by an cheque fraudster. The real issue for me is that Chitika has not really been interested in helping solve my problem or provide alternative solution like using DHL and debiting me for the charges as Google does.

I don't know if there are other publishers in Nigeria of Africa that have actually received a payment from Chitika and how they did it - Would like to know

So it's one thing to make money online with Chitika in Nigeria but another thing to actually receive your earnings. I have never been able to receive my cheque from Chitika through their slow mail process and they are not offering other payment options either apart from snail mail and Paypal of which the latter doesn't work in Nigeria.

   Nice post my brother,
   Actually a lot of all these advertising companies that proof to pay by check do not even try to monitor how the checks are being sent and whether it reached the final destination since there are lots of criminal activities in Nigeria.
   I even have the fear of not receiving the adsense earnings i requested over 3wks now.
   What can we do to stop all these in Nigeria?
