A Kindle Fire HD offers a really excellent browsing experience and you only have to use it to find out why.

Just recently started using mine and really it seems more efficient than my desktop browser. Mind you it doesn't work with internet explore but with it's own custom browser called the Silk browser which I'd say works much like Google Chrome.

Things needed to browse with a Kindle Fire HD
To browse with a Kindle , you will need the following:
- A Wireless internet connection (I use MTN's Hynet)
- Sufficient battery power

How to browse with Kindle
- Power up your Kindle if it is off
- Go to the Home screen where the links are
- Touch the Web link
- Enter your url or search within the address bar

So you can go back, check the history, go to bookmarks as well as bookmark special sites.

What I like about the Kindle browser is that like Google chrome, you can do your search from the address bar and the custom search engine is Google.

Also when you are about to type anything on the Kindle like texts or numbers, an on-screen keyboard appears with which you can easily type what you want by touching.
