Doing mobile browsing without a sim card

Can one browse on his phone without a sim card? Yes, it's possible but you may need to use another form of connection that doesn't require a sim card such as WiFi.

There is a growing number of smart phones now that come with WiFi capability and they can easily browse the web if there is a Wireless internet connection available.

For instance, a Samsung Galaxy Pro Duo or a Nokia E52 both of which I've personally used. They allow one to browse the web without necessarily inserting a sim card since they also come with inbuilt Wifi capability.

To connect a simless mobile phone to the internet using it's WiFi capability, you would need to:

- Start up the phone
- Allow boot up without sim card
- Scan for wireless connections
- Connect to the connection. It may also require you know the key or password
- Go to you phone's browser
- Start browsing with the wireless internet service
