This post is on how I stream YouTube videos on my Nokia e52 phone. This is normally a good idea if you want to watch Youtube videos on your mobile phone and it streams much faster on a mobile phone than on a desktop - It is probably because of the low quality and small sized video output.
Things you will need:
=========
1. A Nokia E52 phone - Other Nokia phones too can work
2. Internet access : An unlimited data Wireless internet service is cool but data plans are also good. I use Hynet
3. YouTube address
How to do it
=============
- Ensure you already have internet acccess on your mobile e.g. WLAN or 3G
- Open your phone browser and go to m.youtube.com
- Browse or search for videos
- Select to watch
- Allow the streaming prompt
- Real player opens up and starts showing movie
You may connect a head phone to listen to the video directly without using the external speaker.
