Since Paypal is not available to residents in Nigeria, the only other option for opening a verified account would have to be by using another country's residence which Paypal approves of. Well, here is a simple way I got a verified Paypal account in Nigeria.

Things I used
==============
- An email address
- A Dedicated Hong Kong ip address
- A Hong Kong residential address
- Internet service
- A Paypal Virtual credit card (VCC)

Steps
======
- First I got a Dedicated IP service from a VPN provider e.g worldvpn.net. It costs about $10 a month. That would be enough for me to open and verify my account

- I also ordered for a Paypal VCC from virtual-cc.com. It costs about $9.99 per use. The card details were then sent to my email

- Next I connected to my internet service and at the same time connected to my VPN service and that changed my ip to a Hong Kong IP

- I then Googled for my ip location in order to find the closest city and then got a random address

- I used that Hong Kong address and registered for a Paypal account

- I requested to verify my Paypal account and added the VCC. Paypal then sent a charge to the card

- Waited for some days to get the Paypal code. It took about 7 days and came in the format PP*1234CODE via email from my VCC provider

- I connected to the internet again and chose to verify, added the Paypal code and the account was verified

- I then got a confirmatory email from Paypal showing the account has been verified.

Now, this has increased my limit and I can receive more payments and accept card payments too on the Premier account.

Your content is very informative. Does paypal still allow virtual cards?

As long as the cards are valid, I think they do. But it is much better to use a Payoneer Mastercard
