How to shop on Footlocker.com from Nigeria

Footlocker.com is a US website that connects online shoppers to Foot Locker Inc, a large American company that is into the retailing of footwear and sportswear. One of the benefits of shopping at Foot Locker is that they offer good quality products and affordable prices too.

I've written a couple of posts on how to shop on US websites from Nigeria such as Amazon.com. If we are however comparing Amazon.com to Footlocker, the latter beats the former when it comes to footwear because that is Footlocker's niche and they do have a wide range of shoes and from top brands like Nike, Adidas and designer labels.

It is however much easier and more convenient to shop on Amazon.com than on Footlocker.com due to the fact that Footlocker's registration is for now only open to US residents with US billing addresses. So you can even register on Footlocker using a Nigerian shipping or Billing address. With Amazon ,you can register with a Nigerian billing and shipping address. So, one can't even make payments on Footlocker using a Visa or Mastercard issued by a Nigerian bank unlike the case with Amazon and so you can't even send gifts to friends in the US by using a Nigerian Visa card.

However, there is a way to shop at Footlocker.com even if you are a Nigerian resident but you are only going to use a Paypal account or a Footlocker gift card if you don't have a US issued Visa or Mastercard.

This blog post is on how I was able to shop at Footlocker.com using my Paypal account.

Things you'll need

- A US Paypal account or Footlocker gift card
- A US address
- A Footlocker buyer's account
- A US VPN service
- Internet service

How to do it
=============
- Visit Footlocker.com and register for an account using your US shipping address as billing and shipping address
- Log into Footlocker when you want to buy
- Select the products and add them to your cart
- Change your ip to a US ip by connecting to your VPN service
- Choose to checkout and choose to pay with Paypal or just proceed and use your gift card details
- Follow the Paypal procedure and make payment
- Return back to Footlocker and complete the order
- A receipt will be generated for you showing your order number and customer number. Keep those details
- Your Paypal account will be debited and your order will be successful.

Order will be shipped to your US shipping address from where you can then proceed to final shipping to Nigeria using an international courier service
