Nokia unable to start operation. Installer already in use

I got an error when I tried downloading and install updates for the Nokia store app on my phone.

Actually, I specifically wanted to download a tv application to my Nokia e52 phone and to do this I had to open the Nokia ovi store application that came with my phone. But on doing so, I got a message that I had to update the app. I then downloaded the update and tried installing the app but got the error:

Nokia unable to start operation. Installer already in use

I didn't know what caused since I didn't have any other app or installer running. I wanted to double check, since the Nokia e52 was a multi-tasking device, being able to do many things at once. I checked and there was no other installer or app running.

How I fixed the error

Here is how I was able to fix the issue:

- I powered off the phone for a few secs using the power button
- Switched it back on
- Tried connecting once again and it was successful.

No more errors and I was able to update the Nokia store app as well as download some apps from the store.
