My driver's license had expired a couple of months already and to be on the safe side, I now had to stop driving and taking public transport whenever I need to.
Here is a simple tutorial on how to get your driver's license renewed in Nigeria.
How to do it
==============
- Visit the Nigerian Driver's license website at https://www.nigeriadriverslicence.org
- Clicked on DL-Application > Renewal of Driver's license
- Fill in the proper details such as previous driver's license number and date of birth
- Fill in other important details
- Proceed to make payment with Pay4me
- Chose the bank deposit option
- Printed a copy of my acknowledgement letter which included my Application ID
- Proceeded to the bank and made cash payment of N6350 to Pay4me account
- My bank posted the transaction and printed a receipt for me which included a validation number
- Visit the FRSC office to do a biometric capture
- Collect a temporary driving license that would last for just 60 days
- Go back after 60 days to get a permanent driving license.
